Assessment of mycotoxins contamination and the causing factors along the Maize value chain in the production regions of Rwanda

Ziel dieses Projekts ist es, die Mykotoxinkontamination zu quantifizieren und die Hauptfaktoren dieser Kontamination in bestimmten Stufen der Mais-Wertschöpfungskette in Ruanda zu bewerten. Der Klimafaktor wird vermutet und muss ebenfalls bewertet werden. Das endgültige Ziel ist es, Maßnahmen zur Vermeidung dieser Kontamination zu bestimmen.

This project aims at quantifying the mycotoxins contamination and assess the main factors that cause this contamination in specific levels of the maize value chain in Rwanda. The factor of climate has been suspected and needs to be assessed as well. The ultimate goal is to be able to provide measures of preventing this contamination.
